Mill City a boon to ‘Main Street’

Camas — Because it has given a boost to downtown Camas, Mill City Brew Werks was honored with the Excellence on Main Street Economic Vitality Award from the Washington State Main Street Program. Downtown Camas Association Executive Director Carrie Schulstad presented the honor this month to owner Mark Zech and staff of the restaurant and brewery, which the association applauds as being a significant destination in town. The award is given to “projects that have resulted in substantially improving the economic vitality of the (downtown) district,” including in job creation, training and bringing outside dollars into the community.
