Legacy Health announced Wednesday the launch of its free, multi-function mobile app.
Legacy Health says its the first health system in Portland to offer such an app, which is available on Apple iPhone and Google Android devices.
The Legacy Health Consumer App is available for download in mobile app stores and Legacy’s website, www.legacyhealth.org/phoneapps.
Key features include:
- “In case of emergency” lock-screen wallpaper that displays critical medical and contact information for emergency responders.
- MyCards feature holds health insurance information.
- Built-in link to MyHealth so patients can communicate with their doctor or clinic to ask questions, get lab results, appointment information, current medications and immunization history.
- Provider directory to look up physicians by name or specialty.
- Directions from a patient’s current location to a Legacy hospital, clinic, outpatient imaging, pediatric, physical therapy or urgent care locations.
