Fond farewells for historical museum director

Arnada — Susan Tissot has left the building. Tissot, executive director of the Clark County Historical Museum from 2003 until this year, was celebrated and thanked for her leadership twice in recent days: once at the annual dinner and auction, held May 10 at Club Green Meadows, and again at a special farewell party at the museum on Main Street on May 13. Tissot has accepted a similar job with the Humboldt Botanical Garden Foundation in Eureka, Calif; her husband, Brian Tissot, formerly a former faculty member at Washington State University Vancouver, has already moved to that area to become director of Humboldt State University’s marine laboratory in Trinidad, Calif.
