A vehicle that crashed into a power pole reportedly caused a brief electrical outage in the Lincoln neighborhood Monday.
Initially, 1,899 customers were affected by the outage, which was first reported about 7:15 a.m., after a truck hit a pole at West 39th Street and Kauffman Avenue.
Traffic in the area was affected while crews with Clark Public Utilities replaced the pole. Power was restored to all of the affected customers within two hours.
The crash reportedly sheared off the power pole but did not result in injuries, according to emergency radio traffic monitored by The Columbian.
