Mill Plain United Methodist Church will host a Re-creating Life After Loss seminar, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. The church is at 15804 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd.

The free talk will be led by Lorraine Fortunati, author of “When Your Honey-Do Done Gone … Endings and Beginnings,” and Debrah Williams, a licensed mental health counselor in private practice in Vancouver. It’s all intended to help people who have been living with grief answer questions such as “Now what?” and “Where do I go from here?”

“Re-creating life occurs multiple times as we age and with every loss. The deeper the loss, the greater the apprehension, ambiguity and need for re-creation,” according to a statement from the church.
