American Red Cross of Southwest Washington seeks volunteers to help with clerical tasks, blood drives, Web design, history, coordinating volunteers, CPR and first aid, digital photography, writing and special events.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for people to connect with a child. In the community-based program, volunteers and a child meet a couple of times per month. In the after-school program, which is more structured, they meet for an hour three or four times a month during the child’s school hours.
Clark College Corporate & Continuing Education seeks cooking school assistants to assist the instructor with shopping, set-up, preparation and sous chef functions for evening and Saturday classes. Continuing Education is also looking for help with office work, answering phones, assisting students, planning excursions, filing and organizing course materials.
Clark College Mature Learning is looking for a media assistant to assist the instructor with the podium and sound amplification systems and PowerPoint presentations, and in the classroom.

Clark County Food Bank is seeking volunteers for the following positions: Fresh Alliance truck driving or riding/helping: Shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.; no CDL license required. Fresh Alliance Sorting: Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on a continual basis to help sort grocery produce for distribution; training is required and conducted on-site. o The Board of Clark County Commissioners seek to fill a vacancy on the city/county Telecommunications Commission for a three-year term beginning in July. The commission advises the board and the Vancouver City Council on matters related to telecommunications and cable television. It makes reports, monitors compliance and establishes rules and regulations regarding cable television and associated telecommunications issues.
