The Clark College baseball team kept hold of the top spot in the NWAACC South region, splitting a doubleheader with Lane on Monday at Eugene.

In the second game, Clark led 3-1 after its half of the fourth. Lane then put four on the board in the bottom half and held the lead from there.

Jake Ripley had two RBI in the second game for the Penguins.

Clark (29-13, 19-9 NWAACC South) maintained its lead in the division over Lane (24-16, 16-11) and Southwestern Oregon (21-19, 16-11).
