The Vancouver Volcanoes basketball team improved to 4-0 with a 116-99 victory over the Venice Beach Warriors in a game played Friday at Los Angeles.
Andre Murray scored 33 points to lead the Volcanoes. He also had six rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Brian Lechtenberg had a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds, and Adam Herman scored 16 points.
The Venice Beach team is part of the West Coast Basketball League, which is a partner league to the Volcanoes’ International Basketball League.
Vancouver next faces the Santa Barbara Breakers at 7 p.m. Saturday in Los Angeles.
