Matchup No. 3 for Camas-Skyview boys soccer is Saturday

Nationally ranked soccer teams meet in district playoff

Camas-Skyview soccer III is set for tonight at McKenzie Stadium.

The two nationally ranked teams, which tied in their two league meetings, will face off again at 7 p.m. for the top seed to the 4A bi-district tournaments and an automatic berth to the 4A state tournament.

The latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America rankings has Camas No. 8 and Skyview No. 11.

Union will face Heritage in a loser-out match at 5 p.m. in the first game Saturday in the district soccer doubleheader. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 students.

2A soccer district — Hockinson and Ridgefield will host first-round matches Saturday in the 2A district tournament.

The bracket is a double-elimination format.Ridgefield, the 2A Greater St. Helens League champion, will host W.F. West of Chehalis at 7 p.m. Hockinson, which earned the No. 2 seed from the GSHL in a tiebreaker win Thursday over Washougal, will host Centralia at 7 p.m.
