Members and friends of the Clark County Historical Society will gather from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday to honor Susan Tissot, who is departing as the museum’s executive director.

The event will be at the Clark County Historical Museum, 1511 Main St.

Volunteers, staff, friends and others are invited to attend and recognize Tissot’s 10 years of service to the organization.

Tissot also served as an adjunct faculty member in the History Department at Washington State University Vancouver.

Tissot is leaving next month to become executive director for the Humboldt Botanical Garden Foundation in Eureka, Calif.

The Historical Society board is seeking a new director.
