The American Diabetes Association of Oregon and Southwest Washington is launching the 2014 Tour de Cure campaign this month.

The event kick-off party begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 10 at OMSI, 1945 S.E. Water Ave. Following the party, attendees are invited to join a ride along Springwater Corridor Trail.
Corporate and friends and family teams recruit riders who raise money for riding. The event is designed for various skill levels, from the casual rider to the experienced cyclist, and has different route lengths, including a 5-mile family ride and a 100-mile ride.
Tour de Cure is the largest fundraiser for the diabetes association each year. The goal for this year’s campaign is $450,000.
