C-Tran will receive a $2 million federal grant to buy six new buses, U.S. Sen. Patty Murray said Wednesday.
The money will come from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s State of Good Repair program. Murray is a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee.
“I am so pleased that the Department of Transportation is providing this critical support for Clark County transportation,” Murray said in a statement. “This is an important investment in our state’s transportation system, and it will make a difference for commuters in Clark County.”
