Skamania — An 8-year-old girl was honored last week by Skamania County Sheriff Dave Brown for having the courage to report finding a woman’s body floating in the Columbia River by Beacon Rock State Park.
During a May 1 ceremony, the sheriff’s office applauded Lilly Johnson who spotted the body of the 44-year-old Vancouver woman who had gone missing a month earlier.
