The following are local land-use proposals. The county or city may rate them in three categories: nonsignificant, no environmental impact study needed; nonsignificant, provided proponents meet certain conditions; and significant, requiring an environmental impact study.

NORTHEAST 47TH AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT: Department of Public Works seeks approval to upgrade Northeast 47th Avenue from 68th Street to 78th Street. The project will turn Northeast 47th Avenue from a 16-foot roadway with no sidewalks to a minimum of two 13-foot travel lanes with a sidewalk on one side. Stormwater treatment facilities will be constructed. Environmental impact rating: nonsignificant. Comment deadline: May 15. HEARTHWOOD EARLY LEARNING CENTER: Robertson Engineering PLLC seeks approval to build a 4,956-square-foot modular classroom building, including future 2,001-square-foot addition, play area with shelter, additional parking and improvements.
