A local non-profit is working to raise money so that it can purchase a delivery van.

The Inter-Faith Treasure House, which serves east Clark County, is currently working to raise at least $5,000 during the next three months to purchase the vehicle. Camas-Washougal Community Chest has offered to match any donations received in May, June and July, up to $5,000.

One of the Treasure House’s main purposes is to distribute food to families in need. The primary source of the perishable and non-perishable food is local stores. A van is needed to pick up this food, and complete other donation pickups.

Tax-deductible donations to the Inter-Faith Treasure House can be mailed to P.O. Box 1015, Camas, WA 98607.

For more information, visit www.ifth-cw.org or www.camaswashougalcommunitychest.org, or call Treasure House Executive Director Nancy Wilson at 834-4181.
