Vancouver-based Kuni Automotive expanded its West Coast presence this week, announcing it has acquired an Audi dealership in Palo Alto, Calif.
The approximately 2.5-acre car lot, showroom, parts-and-service center and more than 151 automobiles were included in the purchase of Carlson Audi for an undisclosed price. The purchase brings the number of Kuni dealerships to 15 locations in Washington, Oregon, California and Colorado, said Greg Goodwin, the company’s CEO.
The new facility is Kuni Automotive’s third Audi dealership. Launched in 1970, Kuni Automotive has Audi, Lexus, BMW, Land Rover, Porsche, Infiniti, Cadillac and Volkswagen, Chevrolet and Honda dealerships and employs 1,200 people at its facilities and at its new Vancouver headquarters at 17800 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd.
Kuni Automotive does not have a Vancouver dealership, but the company has been headquartered here since 2004.
