Female veterans topic of film, talk at WSUV

A free film screening and discussion by female veterans will address those veterans wrestling with prosthetic devices, homelessness, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Military Sexual Disorder.

“Service: When Women Come Marching Home” begins at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Dengerink Administration Building Auditorium, Washington State University Vancouver, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave.

o 4 p.m. screening of film, “Service.”

o 5 p.m. panel discussion by four female veterans, including a WSU Vancouver employee and a student.

o 5:45 p.m. keynote address by Lourdes E. Alvarado-Ramos, director of Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs.

o 6 p.m. meet and greet with refreshments.
