Clark: Penguins split DH vs. Linfield JV

The Clark College baseball team went 3-1 on the weekend after a doubleheader split on Sunday against the Linfield JV team at Kindsfather Field.

Clark (10-3) won the first game 6-5 as Brayden Maney drove in the winning run.

The Penguins were edged out in the second game 4-3.

Clark next hosts Southwestern Oregon in doubleheaders on Friday (2 p.m.) and Saturday (noon).

SOFTBALL: The Clark softball team was swept in two games at Delta Park on Sunday, losing to Centralia 12-4 and Olympia 6-1 in an NWAACC Inter-regional tournament.

Haley Hamilton had a home run against Centralia for Clark and Bryce Baucum drove in two runs.

Clark next hosts Pierce at 1 p.m. Thursday.
