A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night in a crash on Interstate 5 north of Vancouver, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash occurred about 8:50 p.m. just south of the Gee Creek rest area.
A motorcycle was driving north on the freeway when it was struck by a vehicle, according to emergency radio traffic.
After the initial crash, the motorcyclist was struck by a second vehicle, according to radio traffic.
An off-duty paramedic who arrived on scene began administering CPR before rescue crews arrived, but the WSP reported later that the motorcyclist had died.
