A popular trail at the Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge will close Monday for maintenance.
The Gibbons Creek Wildlife Art Trail will be closed all day Monday while crews remove hazardous branches and debris from the trail, said refuge manager Jim Clapp. The closure will include all entrances to the trail.
The Columbia River dike trail will remain open during the work. The Steigerwald Lake refuge is just east of Washougal.
