Sean Robbins will leave his post as president and CEO of the regional economic development organization Greater Portland Inc. to lead Business Oregon, the state’s economic development agency.
Robbins, appointed by Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber, will begin as director of Business Oregon on June 1.
Robbins has worked for Greater Portland Inc., which includes Clark County, for three years. That organization expects to have a new president and CEO on board before Robbins’ departure, said Greater Portland Inc. board chair Greg Ness.
