The Department of Social and Health Services will take its traveling office to Washougal and Amboy later this month to connect with people who qualify for cash and food assistance.
The agency’s Mobile Community Service Office will stop at the Interfaith Treasure House in Washougal from noon to 5 p.m. March 24.
The next day, it will head to the Amboy Market, where it will stay from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Each day, DSHS staff will hold interviews for new applicants and yearly reviews for those who have already signed up for food and cash assistance.
