Historical Society adds two new members

Arnada — The Clark County Historical Society has added two new members to its board of directors. Shirley Gross, associate director of development and planned giving for Legacy’s Salmon Creek Hospital Foundation, has 18 years of fund development experience with regional nonprofits, including the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington, Innovative Service NW and the Community Foundation of Southwest Washington. Sue Peabody, Washington State University Vancouver’s associate chair of history, has written numerous historical books and peer-reviewed articles. Peabody, who is married to Columbian staff writer Scott Hewitt, was also nominated for WSUV’s Distinguished Woman of the Year in 2013.
