Leadership Clark County is hosting a free information meeting on Tuesday, March 18 for candidates interested in learning more about the community leadership program and applying to enter the class of 2015.

At the free session, candidates can ask questions and hear from alumni about their experiences. The event will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., at Clark Public Utilities, 1200 Fort Vancouver Way, Community Room, Vancouver.

Applications from candidates interested in joining the Class of 2015 are due by April 30.

Leadership Clark County is a nonprofit, nonpartisan civic leadership development program. Participants are selected through a competitive application process and gain in-depth knowledge of the community and leadership skills to be more effective in the community.

The program runs September through May and is offered annually to individuals from Clark County’s private, nonprofit and public sectors. More than 600 people have completed the program. LCC alumni serve in more than 100 organizations, using their leadership and volunteer skills to make a difference in our community.
