Beacock Music of Vancouver has been named top music instrument and product retailer out of 4,000 independent music dealers by the National Association of Music Merchants.
A feature story and a photo of the store’s co-owner Gayle Beacock were featured on the cover of Playback magazine’s 2014 winter issue.
Family-owned Beacock Music at 1420 S.E. 163rd Ave. was founded by parents Dale, who died in 2011, and Susan Beacock. It is operated by brother-and-sister business partners Russ and gayle Beacock.
The business was honored at a July award ceremony in Nashville, Tenn.
