The Vancouver-based nonprofit Pink Lemonade Project is celebrating BRAVE Day this month with several activities.

BRAVE Day, which stands for “breast restoration advocacy education,” is a day to recognize the rights and choices women have for the prevention, treatment and recovery of breast cancer.

Here are the BRAVE Day events hosted by Pink Lemonade Project:

  • 6 to 8 p.m. March 18: A panel of experts will host a discussion and answer questions. The event is open to all patients, survivors and their families. Hosted in partnership with Compass Oncology.

  • 5 to 7 p.m. March 20: Patients and survivors are invited to BRAVE Day on the Pink Carpet, a celebration of survivors and breast cancer patient rights. Includes a fashion show and keynote speaker.

  • March 21: BRAVE Day at Roots. Roots Restaurant and Bar, 19215 S.E. 34th St. Suite 110 in Camas, will donate 10 percent of the day’s sales to Pink Lemonade Project.

  • 5:30 p.m. March 22: Pink Glow, Party with a Purpose is the nonprofit’s signature fundraising events. Includes dinner, auctions and entertainment. To purchase tickets, visit www.pinklemonadeproject.org/pink-glow.
