Ridgefield — For its efforts to help improve the lives of Clark County residents, local 4-H rabbit club Country Critters won the Chevron’s Washington State Best Community Pride Club Award in February. Club members and their parents attended a recent Know Your Government dinner in Olympia, where they received a certificate and $300. Country Critters’ efforts to feed hungry people in Clark County include its Bunnies Battling Hunger Program, and partnerships with companies and agencies to bring in donations for the Clark County Food Bank. The group is asking for canned food donations March 17-30, which can be dropped off at any Burgerville restaurant in the county.
