Mild temperatures and sunshine gave Clark County a fleeting taste of spring on Monday, with many places cracking the 60-degree mark for the first time in 2014.
Vancouver’s afternoon high topped out at 61 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. It was the city’s warmest day since Nov. 11, when the temperature also reached 61 degrees.
Was it a taste of things to come? Probably not, at least in the near future.
Today could again bring temperatures close to 60 degrees, but it will also bring rain, forecasters said. Rain and showers are expected to last at least through the rest of the week as conditions cool.
In other words, take the liner out of the raincoat, but keep those shorts and sandals in the closet a little while longer.
