The Battle Ground Public Schools board has selected six semifinalists for superintendent. More than 20 people applied for the position.
After the board of directors conducts confidential interviews with semifinalists Saturday, board members will select three finalists.
Community members, parents, students and staff are invited to a meet-the-finalists forum and ask questions from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. March 15 at Chief Umtuch Middle School, 700 N.W. Ninth St., Battle Ground. Participants can comment online or through a paper survey.
The board expects to select the new superintendent by May 1 and have the superintendent begin working July 1.
