A Camas man was arrested Friday morning after he allegedly threatened to stab someone at the Fern Prairie Market in east Clark County.
The incident resulted from road rage on state Highway 500, Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Chad Rothenberger said. Kyle Growth, 23, of Washougal was eastbound on the roadway when a vehicle driven by Arthur Randall, 48, pulled out in front of him, forcing him to slam on his brakes, Rothenberger said.
The pair exchanged hand gestures and pulled into the parking lot of the Fern Prairie Market, 1817 N.E. 267th Ave. Randall was holding a small knife or key between his fingers when he allegedly threatened to stab Growth, Rothenberger said.
He said while Randall went inside the market, Growth called 911 around 10:30 a.m. and blocked Randall’s vehicle with his own.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Randall, who was booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of second-degree assault.
