BATTLE GROUND — Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures through this weekend on state Highway 502 near Battle Ground as firefighters do training burns near the roadway. Clark County Fire & Rescue will burn buildings on property acquired by the Washington State Department of Transportation for future road widening.

• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday: Eastbound lane closed near the Northeast 82nd Avenue intersection.

• 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday: Eastbound lane closed near Northeast 50th Avenue.

• 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday: Westbound lane closed near Northeast 29th Avenue.

During the closures, flaggers will direct drivers through the area using alternating, one-way traffic. Those passing through the area can expect delays of up to 10 minutes, according to WSDOT.
