An employee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car arrived at work Tuesday morning to find one car with fire damage and several other cars vandalized, according to Vancouver Fire Marshal Heidi Scarpelli.

Fire investigators were called at 6:30 a.m. to the car rental agency, 8008 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd. The vehicle damaged by fire had two broken taillights and cloth material near the taillights that had been ignited, Scarpelli said. The fire was out when the Enterprise employee first noticed the damage.

Investigators are continuing to look into the suspected arson, and they are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Deputy Fire Marshal Chris Drone at 360-607-7991.

Vancouver police also are investigating the incident as possible malicious mischief.
