Oh, the joys of weather forecasting. As mentioned here Sunday, more clouds and light showers are on the way this week off and on — not heavy, but still more moisture and clouds than sunshine. We will need decent sunbreaks to push us up into the 70s, but that may still come to pass.
If you are a farmer and want to cut your hay fields, hold on a spell. We may yet dry out over the weekend and continue that way into the Fourth of July. Yep, June is on its way out.
These pesky lows that park themselves off the coast and spin rotating bands of moisture are frustrating. It’s kind of like spinning a roulette wheel: “Where she stops, nobody knows.” So we broad-brush the forecast the rest of the week to clouds at times with scattered showers with sunbreaks. Did I leave anything out?
With a high temperature Monday of 80 degrees, we’ve managed to pull off three 80-degree days this month — nothing to write home about but still very pleasant. If we believe computer guidance, we will have no more 80-degree days this month.
