A 24-year-old Vancouver man sustained critical injuries when he fell while longboarding with a group of friends near Livingston Mountain on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called at about 10:20 a.m. to Northeast Livingston Road and Northeast 63rd Circle for the crash.
First responders asked for assistance from Life Flight, but later canceled the air ambulance and drove Sean Larue by ambulance to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, said Clark County sheriff’s Sgt. Fred Neiman.
Larue had injuries to his head and upper body, and was listed in critical condition at the hospital Tuesday evening. Detectives from the agency’s traffic unit are trying to determine what caused Larue to crash, Neiman said.
