Two people were reported injured when the driver of a Kia caromed off an SUV and ended up under a tractor-trailer rig.
The accident was reported at 10:44 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Highway 500 and Stapleton Road.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a 2003 Kia driven by Joseph A. Fair Foote, 27, of Woodland, was driving eastbound in the left lane when it smacked into the rear of an SUV driven by Georgann F. Bachman, 34, of Vancouver. The Kia slid into the right lane and came to rest under the trailer of a tractor-trailer rig driven by Todd B. Helsin, 54, of Beaverton, Ore.
Fair Foote and Bachman were both taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, where they were both treated and released. Helsin was not hurt.
