Bonneville pool is open again Friday and Saturday for the conclusion of the scheduled summer retention period for sturgeon. Anglers averaged a keeper per six boat rods and 17.6 bank rods last Friday and Saturday.
Trout fishing is good in Swift Reservoir. Trollers were catching 9- to 10-inch fish last weekend fishing with 2 ounces of weight at 17 to 35 “pulls.”
Summer chinook catches should improve as the run builds a bit in the next week.
