NAVAL ACADEMY GRADUATION

Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Daniel T. Schneider, son of Gary and Nicole Schneider of Brush Prairie, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., and was commissioned to his current rank. Schneider is a 2010 graduate of Hockinson High School.

BASIC TRAINING

Air Force Airman James A. Bartholomew, son of Lora and Anthony Bartholomew of Washougal, has completed basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas, graduating with honors. He is a 2013 graduate of Washougal High School.

Air Force Airman Gage M. Cotton, a 2012 graduate of Camas High School, has completed basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Elisabeth M. Cotton of Camas and Brent C. Cotton of Vancouver.

Air Force Airman Alexandria A. Fredrickson has completed basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Fredrickson is the daughter of Jennifer J. Pariera of Vancouver and Chris Fredrickson of Central Point, Ore. Her grandmother, Kathi Teese, lives in Vancouver.

Navy Seaman Recruit Peter A. Hendrickson, son of Carolyn Hendrickson of Vancouver, recently completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Hendrickson is a 2010 graduate of La Center High School.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Andrew Spencer, son of Robert and Camile Spencer of Washougal, has completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
