Vancouver — Clark County Public Health is hosting free training for local chefs who want to reduce the amount of sodium in the meals they serve.
The training is offered for chefs at locally owned, independent restaurants in Clark County and will show chefs how to use herbs and spices to reduce sodium in food.
The training is 9 to 11 a.m. June 25 at the Clark College Columbia Tech Center Cooking School Kitchen, 18700 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver.
