As Vancouver police continued to investigate Monday’s triple shooting in the North Image neighborhood, the shooting’s only survivor remained in critical condition Wednesday.

Danny and Sandra Luster, both 49, were found dead, along with the family dog, around 5:30 a.m. Monday in their house at 13007 N.E. 52nd St.

Investigators won’t know for certain who fired the shots until the Clark County Medical Examiner releases the autopsy report, said Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp.

On Tuesday, the agency said it was investigating the shooting as A domestic violence murder-suicide.

The couple’s son, Matt Luster, 23, suffered a gunshot wound in the incident and was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. He was listed in critical condition Wednesday night in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
