The assistant manager of the Columbia Credit Union branch in Washougal has been promoted.

Darcie Williams succeeds Ed Hakanovic, as the assistant vice president/manager of the Washougal branch, at 271 “C” St., in The Crossing.

Hakanovic now manages the Columbia Credit Union EastRidge branch, in Vancouver.

Williams is responsible for ensuring the branch’s overall success — meeting goals for production, sales, service and market growth. She will develop and initiate plans for staff leadership and development, ensure branch compliance with regulations and policies and assist in advancing the strategic direction of the credit union.

“She has demonstrated the leadership, sales, service and management skills necessary to drive our success in the Camas-Washougal market,” said Columbia Credit Union vice president of branch services, Paul Stednitz. “We look forward to her contributions.”

Williams, of Washougal, has 14 years of financial industry experience.

Columbia Credit Union, established in 1952, serves more than 80,856 members with consumer, business, mortgage and wealth management services. Columbia holds $982 million in assets.
