Columbia River Economic Development Council recently hired a new business development manager.

Max Ault previously served as the operations manager for the Gifford Pinchot Task Force, where he also served on the board of directors prior to his employment at the organization.

Ault has also worked as a special assistant to the office of the chancellor at Washington State University — Vancouver and as legislative assistant to Washington State Rep. Tim Probst.

“We are excited for Max to join the CREDC team,” remarked CREDC President Mike Bomar. “His deep commitment to the community and broad skill set make him an important asset to the organization.”

Ault, who started work at CREDC in May, is responsible for implementing key strategic goals for the organization related to supporting existing and startup businesses in Clark County. As such, he will serve as CREDC’s primary point of contact for local businesses seeking assistance with startup, growth or retention issues.

Ault is a Clark County native and holds a bachelor’s degree in public affairs from Washington State University Vancouver.
