Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds — Thousands of people helped raise nearly $100,000 for local children’s charities at the annual Dozer Days May 17-18 at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds in Ridgefield. Now in its 10th year, the Nutter Foundation event drew about 20,000 people to the fairgrounds, where kids were able to sit in the driver’s seat and help operate dozers, excavators, fire engines and more. It’s about fun, but also to educate about safety and potential career paths. More than 700 volunteers contributed to the event, according to a press release. Learn more at www.nutterfoundation.org.
