Monday was another great day, with morning clouds and plenty of afternoon sunshine. Highs were in the mid-70s, a few degrees above average. Picture perfect! Today we will see the morning clouds a bit more stubborn and may only see partial afternoon clearing and sunshine.
There is still no rain to speak of other than possible areas of morning drizzle from the layer of thick marine clouds. Beach mists anyone? The coast will stay socked in most of the day. Fewer morning clouds are on tap for Wednesday and the rest of the week through the weekend.
The first sign of rain may wait until the middle of the month, but a couple forecast models are hinting at showers next week.
The overall outlook for June remains warm and dry. At least the Rose Festival will shine in all its glory. Not often do we have an extended run of dry weather in June. Warm days, cool nights, afternoon north-to-northwest breezes. I think that defines perfection.
