Woman’s garden grows splendidly

Andresen/St. Johns — Ruth Cooper is very proud of her green thumb. Her gardening prowess has resulted in flourishing gardens in the front and backyards of her central Vancouver home. She has many types of berries, grapes, flowers and vegetables. She found her passion for the craft after growing up on a 400-acre farm in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
