Cascade Highlands — A Cascade Highlands resident was applauded recently by his local neighborhood association for his efforts to spruce up the community. Mark Crawford has dedicated much of his time in the past few years spearheading a project in the Homestead Acres area to clean up foliage and improve a fence that lines the community. He even painted many panels of the fence. “Mark volunteers at the neighborhood association cleanups and is an all-around great neighbor,” said a note in the latest Cascade Highlands Neighborhood Association newsletter. The city of Vancouver is seeking nominations for neighbors who deserve similar recognition. Send nominations to judi.bailey@cityofvancouver.us.
