The 20th annual Rural Heritage Fair, hosted by the Fort Vancouver Antique Equipment Association, showcases the tools used in Clark County during the 19th and 20th centuries. There will be live blacksmith demonstrations and displays of early electric and steam-powered machines, tractors, classic cars and fire engines. There will also be a children’s pioneer village with hands-on activities, a swap meet and a tour of the ranch’s collection of treasures.

2) Happy Harvest Days
Battle Ground Harvest Days celebrates with a pancake breakfast at the fire station before kicking off the festivities. The Kiwanis Children’s Parade will begin at 9:45 a.m., followed by the Harvest Days Grand Parade at 10 a.m. The street fair includes arts and crafts, beer garden, live music and entertainment on the main stage until 11 p.m. There will be car show starting at 1 p.m. along Main Street. Family games and the 4-H petting zoo can be found at Central Park from 1 to 6 p.m., with a geocaching challenge at 2 p.m. in Kiwanis Park.
Rounding out the weekend will be the Harvest Hay Half, a half-marathon benefiting the North County Community Food Bank, which will be held Sunday at Battle Ground Village, followed by an 8K and the Family Fun Run.
