A free training program July 22 and 23 will teach suicide assessment and intervention skills to people who work with those at risk of suicide. Attending both days is mandatory for all participants.
The trainers are field coordinator Mary Jadwisiak and program director Kate Kenney from the Washington Youth Suicide Prevention Program.
• When: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, and Wednesday, July 23; check in at 8:15 a.m.
• Where: Lewisville School, 406 N.W. Fifth Ave., Battle Ground.
• Cost: Free for parents of Battle Ground youth or people who work with Battle Ground youth; $150 for all others.
