Dog food firm aids Humane Society

Fisher-Mill Plain — The Humane Society for Southwest Washington will benefit from a recent pledge from the Pedigree dog food company of $5,000 in food and $5,000 toward facility improvements. As part of its Food for Dogs campaign, the company is making the same donation to one animal shelter in each of the continental states. Pedigree is also donating a bowl of food to charities for each dog story shared on social media using the #dogtales hashtag.
