Summer chinook retention in the lower Columbia resumes on Friday and continues through July, then the big fall chinook and coho season starts on Aug. 1. (See page B1)
Sturgeon retention is allowed Friday and Saturday in the Bonneville pool of the Columbia River. Retention also is scheduled open July 18 and 19. This is one of the rare chances to catch and keep a sturgeon.
Takhlakh Lake on the west side of Mount Adams has been stocked with 160 big rainbow trout plus 3,325 catchable-size rainbow.
