Vancouver Victory FC moves into first-place tie with draw at Spokane

Vancouver Victory FC earned a 1-1 draw on the road against Spokane SC Shadow on Sunday.

The draw moved Vancouver into a first-place tie in the Evergreen Premier League with two matches to play.

Vancouver and South Sound sit atop the standings with 25 points. Spokane is in third with 20 points.

Vancouver took the lead in the 31st minute when Mirza Ramic converted a penalty kick.

Spokane evened the score in the 71st minute with a blast from the top of the penalty area.

Jordan Farr had 8 saves for Vancouver.

Vancouver ends its season with two home matches, both at McKenzie Stadium. The Victory face Spokane on Thursday, then finish with a showdown against South Sound on July 20.
